In fact, I recall here, Senator Plínio Valério, an emblematic case that did not happen here but in the United States: the investigation of the Watergate case, which began small, related to the break-in at the Democratic Party's office in the Watergate building in Washington, and, in its developments, reached the President of the Republic at the time, Richard Nixon.
And Richard Nixon acted, at every moment – later this was revealed with the disclosure of the President's tapes – to obstruct those investigations.
