We live in a country where values are somewhat inverted, or are quite inverted.
I refer here, specifically, to an event that occurred earlier this month, out in the interior of Pernambuco, in São Bento do Una.
Júlia Eduarda, a pregnant woman, was murdered by blows from a hammer.
The murderer, after this atrocious crime, was taken to the judge, who released him at a custody hearing, with only an electronic ankle bracelet.
