Simone Tebet: So when I saw that São Paulo welcomed me, having a history with São Paulo, not only from my grandparents who arrived as immigrants from Lebanon, but I studied in São Paulo, I did a master's degree in São Paulo, I am married to a Paulista from Birigui, I have been with him for 37 years, my daughters have lived here for 10 years, I pay taxes in São Paulo, I own property.
To give you an idea, in January 2023, when São Paulo suffered that natural disaster affecting the coast of the Baixada Santista, the north coast of Ilhabela, passing through Ubatuba, Guarujá, anyway, I was in Guarujá and quickly helped to assist and we sought resources.
Simone Tebet: And as Minister of Planning and Budget, I had an overall view of Brazil, helping very much the State of São Paulo as well.
