Tabata Amaral: So today our girls are, once, during a school year, introduced to great Brazilian women who made history and built this nation.
Tabata Amaral: Perhaps one of our most recent victories was the law that established a quota, a minimum percentage on the boards of large public and mixed-capital companies for the presence of women.
It was unacceptable that in 2025 we had large companies that did not even have a single woman on the board.
Tabata Amaral: And we who like management, who like results, know that many studies have already shown that with women on those boards these companies would be more honest, more effective and more profitable.
Tabata Amaral: It took a few years — Senator Dorinha and Deputy Jack Rocha also helped us a lot — and today it is law.
