Sérgio Moro: If it were in force... It contains a specific provision that was requested of me, including by law enforcement officers who fear that, when they retire, they will lose all forms of security protection from the State.
That's because today a judge who is threatened, a prosecutor who is threatened, a police chief who is threatened, a lieutenant of the Military Police who is threatened by organized crime can count on the protection of the State so that he can perform his duties; and, at the moment he is retired, the legal basis for that disappears.
Sérgio Moro: Of course, in my view, the correct thing is that this protection service should continue to be provided.
