Sérgio Moro: I went there, visited the town, and I must say I was very impressed with Mayor Sezar, the town's mayor, a man experienced in public life who was walking about vigorously, over the rubble, speaking with residents to seek support and also to provide them with the means to carry out that reconstruction.
Sérgio Moro: On that occasion, I informed them and decided to direct part of my parliamentary amendments toward the city's reconstruction effort.
I set aside approximately R$6 million to be allocated specifically to health and to rebuilding the town's infrastructure.
Sérgio Moro: The federal delegation of Deputies and Senators from Paraná decided, for their part, to allocate R$66 million.
Sérgio Moro: Of course the amounts are still insufficient to repair all the damage, but it is a way in which we can at least contribute to alleviating the suffering of that population.
