Today there are reasons to celebrate, because in the CCJ the new Electoral Code was approved, regarding which I have several reservations, but it must be said that a great deal was at stake.
Sérgio Moro: Among them, there were those who wanted, or there were proposals aimed at, in practice, doing away with the Ficha Limpa Law, which, by the way, will be 15 years old in 2025.
Sérgio Moro: This law was a popular initiative that sought to moralize elections by keeping from the electoral contest those who committed crimes, those who, for having committed crimes, are unworthy of receiving the vote of confidence of the population.
