Samara Martins: Because a large part of the left thought that making agreements, including with sectors that aren't left, is necessary to stay in power, to guarantee governability.
We believe that popular strength is what is capable of guaranteeing governability.
Samara Martins: For example... they were there trying to approve the shielding PEC, which we called banditry, which was meant to shield them from the crimes they commit.
Samara Martins: And they do commit them, as we've seen, the Banco Master scandal, the INSS scandal, and they go about protecting themselves in institutional spaces as well.
