Rodrigo Pacheco: The first complementary bill was PLP No. 125 of 2022, which I presented, approved by the Senate and the Chamber, and already sanctioned by President Lula, culminating in Law 225 of 2026, which is the Taxpayer Protection Code, and which also provides for combating recalcitrant debtors in Brazil.
This bill had great repercussion; its enactment into law ended up being very useful to Brazil in combating recalcitrant debtors.
Rodrigo Pacheco: And, together with that complementary bill, there was another complementary bill, No. 124 of 2022, which was approved in the Federal Senate under the rapporteurship of Senator Efraim Filho, and there was broad support from the Senate Plenary for its approval on that occasion.
Rodrigo Pacheco: Forwarded to the Chamber of Deputies, President Hugo Motta took steps to secure its approval, under the rapporteurship, if I am not mistaken, of Federal Deputy Lafayette de Andrada, from Minas Gerais; and, approved in the Chamber of Deputies, it returns to the Federal Senate.
