Marcos Rogério: This is a fact that has been denounced not only, from time to time, here from the rostrum of the Senate by a parliamentarian, but also by the national media, the Brazilian news outlets, the Brazilian press.
And here, instead of looking at the facts and verifying the truthfulness and seriousness of what is being denounced, no—one seeks a messenger to frame, threaten and punish.
Marcos Rogério: And then I ask: where is the legal basis for this within the democratic rule of law, within due process?
Marcos Rogério: And at this point a great controversy arises. Minister Alexandre de Moraes, in this case, besides being a direct victim of the revelations, is also the direct person responsible for the extradition request and for conducting the process.
