Marcos Rogério: While our neighbor Mato Grosso announced, in the last two years, more than 3,000 kilometers, Rondônia did not have 100 km of paved roads in the past eight years.
So we are far behind, well short. And we want to promote economic development, and with that comes social development, with that comes the improvement of income for those in the countryside.
Marcos Rogério: We need to do that. It's not only the state highways that are our challenge; the federal highways are too.
Marcos Rogério: The toll issue sacrifices the population of Rondônia, sacrifices those producing in Rondônia, and I was already denouncing this when I took over the Infrastructure Committee of the Federal Senate.
