Kim Kataguiri: Mr. President, this bill is a mockery. Look, we are saying that a political party will be able to parcel its debts over 15 years — 15 years of debt installment for a political party — and will only need to start paying one year after the conviction becomes final.
No ordinary citizen, no company has the condition, the right to be able to pay only one year after the conviction and still parcel it over 15 years, with public money, with money from the electoral fund, with money from the party fund.
Kim Kataguiri: Furthermore, you cannot punish the political party, prevent it from contesting the elections, in case of irregularities in its accounts.
Kim Kataguiri: There have already been cases of a party that bought a small jet, that bought a helicopter, that bought a meat grinder, that bought a mansion.
