Gabriel Azevedo: Urban mobility was the theme of my dissertation at the London School of Economics, and as a city councilor I in fact implemented Zero Fare in Belo Horizonte.

Zero Fare for housing estates and favelas, Zero Fare for high school students, Zero Fare for women victims of violence, for those undergoing cancer treatment and for those seeking employment.
Gabriel Azevedo: This zero fare came with the implementation of subsidies for the city's public transport system, in which I fought hard as a councilor for it not to be simply a benefit for the sector, but to be linked to compensatory measures of quality for the user.
Gabriel Azevedo: Air conditioning on buses, vehicles of quality, longer service hours, because anyone who studies mobility on the planet realizes the State needs to subsidize.
