So it is, yes, Dr. Claudio Lottenberg, a shame to see Brazil with the current Government taking such a position.

If it were President Bolsonaro, I am certain you would not put up with this shame, nor would the Jewish community here in our country, because we have always recognized — indeed, we were the first country to recognize — the State of Israel in 1948, at the UN General Assembly.
Flavio Bolsonaro: And the memory we have of those ties between Brazil and Israel includes the firefighters and rescue teams that Israel sent to Brazil to help us rescue the victims in Brumadinho in 2019, in Minas Gerais, and so many other examples in which Israel lends us technology and expertise.
