Erika Hilton: It is necessary to have a qualified debate about the Brazil we want, about the project of democracy we defend.
Erika Hilton: Yesterday we saw the exaltation of the dictatorship, of torture, the tearing apart of democracy.
This occurred yesterday, not long ago. We need, starting from this case and so many others that occur throughout Brazil, to discuss what kind of Brazil we want, what kind of politics we want, what responsibilities institutions have in the face of barbarism, violence, inequality, hatred and intolerance.
Erika Hilton: I could not use this podium today, Mr. President, esteemed Deputies, to speak of anything other than this condemnation, than this crime, which does not end here.
Erika Hilton: This sentence is a part, it is an answer, but there is still a need to seek further reparation, for justice.
