And here I will disagree with that first point.
Lula's government did not include.
There is a very good study I've seen presented by Marcos Lisboa — he didn't do it, but he promotes it — that shows all developing countries, all our peers, experienced a sharp decline in poverty, a sharp decline in hunger and an increase in average income.
But, compared to our peers, the decline in our poverty and hunger was smaller.
So, it was a global phenomenon.
with China growing 10% a year.
All developing countries benefited from that.
And because of Lula's government, we lost that opportunity to transform into a developed country.
Lula could have left his second term with Brazil more powerful, richer than Chile.
Chile took advantage of that opportunity better than we did and reached the brink of almost becoming a developed country.
Afterwards there was a problem with direction, but if you say... The proof of the quality of the voter's vote is Lula leaving his second term popular.
Then voters didn't understand that Dilma's government's crisis was also a consequence of the mandatory spending incurred under Lula.
It was also a consequence of hundreds of billions in privileges granted to the private elite by Lula.
