Reality is harsh, but I have a lot of hope.
Why?
Because I've seen moments when... society changed its opinion against the interests of the dominant economic class.

They've done everything against this bill.
Now the Bolsonarists are saying, we'll give the exemption, the discount, for those who earn up to R$ 5,000 and a smaller discount up to R$ 7,000.
However, nonetheless, we're going to annul the part of the bill that says the richest will pay that cost.
Because what is the income tax reform the government submitted?
A discount for those who earn up to R$ 5,000 and then up to a little over R$ 7,000.
And those who have more than R$ 1,200,000 in income per year will have to pay at least 10% tax.
In other words, the guy didn't pay — he paid 8%.
Then it needs to be raised to at least 10, to be for real.
That's how you pay for that.
When the Bolsonarists turn around and say, 'we'll approve only the discount, without the compensation,' first it's very unfair because the richest in this country pay very little tax, the very richest, less than in Europe, less than in the United States, and secondly it's like...
