Important message for our exporters from Rio Grande do Sul: the State government is announcing today another support measure to help companies affected by the 50% increase in United States tariffs on Brazilian products.
We're going to release nearly R$400 million in ICMS credits to companies that sell to the American market and that depend heavily on those exports.
To explain it a bit better, in a simpler way, imagine a shoe factory that exports to the United States.
When it buys leather, soles, glue or the machines to produce, the ICMS it paid on those purchases becomes a credit.
It's like a balance that it can use later to offset the taxes it has to pay.
But when it sells abroad, it doesn't pay ICMS, so that balance accumulates and sits idle.
What we are releasing now is the possibility for that company to transfer that credit to another business that has taxes to pay.
The company that receives the credit pays for it.
And then our shoe factory, in the example I just gave, turns that idle balance into cash, into its coffers, so it can have breathing room and continue producing, guaranteeing the jobs, which is our focus.
It will be nearly 200 companies that will be able to benefit from this operation, because they are those companies that have most, or a substantial part, of their revenue tied to exports to the United States.
So it's a program focused on those companies that will be most affected.

This action adds to a special line we have already announced of R$100 million in credit through BRDE, which was announced in July, with interest subsidized by the State and terms of up to 60 months to repay.
And we will continue doing everything, absolutely everything that is within our reach, to support exporters from Rio Grande do Sul at this challenging moment and, above all, to ensure the maintenance of economic activities and jobs here in Rio Grande do Sul.
