   For more than 30 years, they said that Cracolândia was a problem without a solution. But we never believed that and decided to do things differently. We created reception and treatment structures, expanded therapeutic homes, and carried out intelligence operations to dismantle drug trafficking networks and the financial structures that sustained Cracolândia. And, after a lot of work, the result came: Cracolândia is gone. But the fight against drugs, addiction and organized crime continues. And we will continue confronting this problem, because when there is courage, intelligence and serious work, even what once seemed impossible can change.
