Mr. President, gentlemen and ladies deputies, this afternoon and evening we have here in the plenary of the Chamber of Deputies an uncommon session, a different session, a session... of farewells and arrivals.
And the PP, which not long ago renewed its leadership, has the pleasure and satisfaction of bearing witness in the Chamber of Deputies to the coordination, the sincerity, the seriousness that the government leader, Cândido Vacareza, showed at the head of the government's battles in this House, in the guidance... of the government in this House, always with much coordination, with much seriousness and treating the party leaders with much decency and firmness.
I have been in the PP leadership for only a short time.
My predecessor, leader Agnaldo Ribeiro, who also had a very close relationship with Vacareza, told us about the way the government's leader always dealt with problems.

And a certain leader said, 'I didn't know Vacareza's side.'
His stature, which is the size of his heart, conveys the image, Mr. President, of a true tractor.
And being a tractor, Vacareza, with the heart at the front, in the loader bucket, is what is most essential for a government leader who must know how to talk, must know how to make agreements, but must have a firm posture in conducting Brazil's interests in the Chamber of Deputies.

Count on and continue always counting on our Progressive Party, because we will always be together in addressing the major problems of our Brazil.
