This is the second time we've met on the sidelines of CIPAC, which is the Conservative Convention here in the United States and took place this past weekend here in Florida, the CIPAC Latina.

It's the first time this CIPAC Latina has taken place; it brings together political leaders and also the financial world of Wall Street.

How do these two universes, political and financial, from a Latin perspective, connect here in the United States?
The event was organized by Tony Delgado, who is the leader of Latino Wall Street.
It's a school of financial education.
And he realized that there's a strong relationship between politics, political decisions, the Ministry of Economy, the presidency and Congress, that this always impacts the market, positioning, stock purchases, etc.
So he had the idea of bringing them together.
Because he is Latino, he then created this Latin version of the CPEC.
And the United States, being a land that is a beacon of democracy, ends up receiving many Latinos who come here dissatisfied with their country.
Whether for reasons of security, lack of job opportunities, or even outraged by corruption, they come here to build a country, a land where they can have dignity and better comfort for their family.
So, Latinos here are very concentrated, mainly in Florida: Cubans, people from El Salvador, Nicaragua, Brazil, Colombia, so it ended up being the perfect place for this audience.

In your speech at CIPAC Latina here in Florida on the first day of the event, you spoke about the judiciary's war in Brazil, which, in your words, the judiciary in Brazil has targeted conservative leaders improperly.

From your perspective, what is wrong with the decisions of the Brazilian judiciary — what did you express on stage here?
Actually, my focus has always been on Alexandre de Moraes, not necessarily the entire Brazilian judiciary, because if we generalize, the political class is the first to truly deserve criticism.
But Alexandre de Moraes has deviated and has committed flagrant illegalities and unconstitutional acts.
For example, he is going to politically rush to convict Jair Bolsonaro because next year is an election year and he doesn't want to do it next year.
This is an affront to any kind of standard due process.
When you prosecute ordinary people who don't have privileged access to the Supreme Court, that is also another violation.
So there are a series of violations.
When you go after the judge who claims to be a victim, when the judge conducts an inquisition of people who make plea bargains, like in Cid's case, something expressly prohibited by federal law.
All of that contributes to this kind of criticism.
In his defense, he says these are attacks, but in reality they are just criticisms.
And I finish by recalling journalist Glenn Greenwald's reports, where he obtained the WhatsApp messages from Moraes's circle and judges were talking saying that Moraes wants to get me, wants to get Eduardo Bolsonaro.
This is the person who is still opening investigations against me today, because of my activity here in the United States, which they themselves said two months ago was an illegal activity.

That's a lie.
Jair Bolsonaro was never part of the conversations we have here, whether at the White House or in Congress.
Of course we want an amnesty, because that would mean the end of political persecution in Brazil.
There are several parliamentarians who have inquiries within the STF (Supreme Federal Tribunal), parliamentarians who are even touted to win elections, leading Senate races next year, for example Felipe Barros in Paraná.
