Privatizations and Economic Policy

So, we have understood, including in the defense of the sovereignty and independence of our country, that privatizations should not occur.

And in the candidate's program there is a strong defense of privatizations; he has even defended this with great conviction.

In fact, I am from Minas Gerais and my family lives in Minas Gerais, and this issue of privatizations, including Copasa, my father is a Copasa worker.

This is a surrender of our sovereignty, especially because a large part of these privatizations is carried out for foreign companies.

Well, I am in favor of privatizations because that is what has shown to work around the world, including here in Brazil.

We do not have Alimentobras here in Brazil.

And perhaps that is why Brazil is the most competitive country in the world in the production and export of food.

If it were in the hands of the government, in the same way that we have already had Petrolão and now have BRB, we would certainly be seeing more scandals.
