What Tarcisio said about combat violence against women

My full solidarity with candidate @MarinaSilva, victim of an attempted assault while carrying out campaign events as a candidate this Monday. On the streets, it is essential to respect each citizen's freedom to demonstrate. Disagreements, criticism and protests are part of democracy. What we cannot allow is for disagreement to turn into violence, assault or intimidation, especially at this moment when we need to unite to confront this scourge that is violence against women. I strongly condemn any incident of this nature. Every criminal act must be investigated and those responsible severely punished in accordance with the law.
