Tabata Amaral: It was unacceptable that in 2025 we had large companies that did not even have a single woman on the board.
Tabata Amaral: And we who like management, who like results, know that many studies have already shown that with women on those boards these companies would be more honest, more effective and more profitable.
It took a few years — Senator Dorinha and Deputy Jack Rocha also helped us a lot — and today it is law.
Tabata Amaral: We need to have at least one third women on those boards.
Tabata Amaral: And within that one third, one third reserved for Black women and for women with disabilities.
