Sérgio Moro: Well, first I'd like to state here that Belém and the State of Pará are magnificent — a large population, they have my admiration, I've been there several times — but I want to make an observation: in my view, the German Chancellor made a mistake in speaking that way, although his reference was more to the organization than to the city and its inhabitants themselves.
Sérgio Moro: I'm sure he did not intend to speak that way about the people, but rather about the organization; and I believe the organization fell short, given so many complaints we heard, not only from him but from other dignitaries.
So the Chancellor's complaint, in truth, is about the organization of the Federal Government — and here I have to agree with him, of course, while still offering all compliments to Belém, to Pará and to the state's population.
