Sérgio Moro: To my pleasant surprise, today I received the news that Sanepar reconsidered its position and now intends to allocate at least part of that money to reducing the tariff for Paraná residents and another part to investment.
Sérgio Moro: We will still have to see the exact details to verify whether a significant portion of that R$4 billion will or will not result in a reduction on the water bill of Paraná residents — and, if that does not happen, we will press again —, but it is already a step forward by Sanepar compared to the previous situation.
And here we must record: it is important that Sanepar has turned back.
Sérgio Moro: One cannot necessarily say that it was my warning the previous day, but the chronological coincidence at least makes me comfortable to point out that I made the demand and that demand was met.
Sérgio Moro: We do need, at this moment of difficulty, to think about easing the bills of consumers, households and businesses in our Paraná.
