Sérgio Moro: I made a statement yesterday criticizing, because Sanepar actually went to court against a decision of Agepar (Regulatory Agency of Paraná), which had suggested that it make that discount.
Sérgio Moro: But Sanepar went to court because it wanted to give a different destination to those amounts.
To my pleasant surprise, today I received the news that Sanepar reconsidered its position and now intends to allocate at least part of that money to reducing the tariff for Paraná residents and another part to investment.
Sérgio Moro: We will still have to see the exact details to verify whether a significant portion of that R$4 billion will or will not result in a reduction on the water bill of Paraná residents — and, if that does not happen, we will press again —, but it is already a step forward by Sanepar compared to the previous situation.
Sérgio Moro: And here we must record: it is important that Sanepar has turned back.
