Sérgio Moro: For example, as discussed there, an individual is removed from office in the first year of the term – and sometimes may be removed for a just reason, but sometimes may be removed unjustly, as happened to our former colleague Federal Deputy Deltan Dallagnol – and has to wait until the end of the term in order to then start counting the eight-year period.
There were situations there that were subject to adjustment, without saying that one was opening the floodgates to illicit conduct itself.
Sérgio Moro: And, in the part that mattered most, which concerns those who commit serious crimes, including crimes against the public administration – all of them – the current rules were maintained.
