There are reports published by the newspapers — I highlight here O Globo — and there are also several rural newspapers and channels reporting that the area covered by insurance will fall to 2.8% of the total planted area, which is a practically insignificant percentage, considering the demands of Brazilian agribusiness.
Sérgio Moro: This also occurs in a context in which the European Union is imposing non-tariff restrictions on the export of our products, particularly animal protein.
Sérgio Moro: The facts still need to be better investigated, but, apparently, a failure by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa) led to information about the use of certain products in the production of our country's animal protein not being forwarded in time to that country's sanitary authorities.
