The owner of Banco Master had preventive detention ordered by Minister André Mendonça, who has done great work at the STF (Supreme Federal Tribunal) and made a courageous decision.
Sérgio Moro: I confess that when I read the terms of the decision I was surprised, because I have always understood and argued in the past that Daniel Vorcaro should already be imprisoned.
Sérgio Moro: After all, there are evidentiary elements still being investigated indicating that he would be responsible for a financial fraud of more than R$40 billion, and that's speaking only of the loss caused to the guarantee fund.
