Sérgio Moro: However, Senator Plínio Valério, last week, over the weekend, there came an interlocutory decision from the STF (Supreme Federal Tribunal), by Minister Gilmar Mendes, preventing, suspending the breaking of banking and fiscal secrecy legitimately decreed by the CPI on Organized Crime.
Sérgio Moro: We, of course, respect the STF (Supreme Federal Tribunal); we know there are Ministers of the STF concerned about this situation, but that was a procedural maneuver to prevent the investigation from following its normal course.
We hope this House will appeal that decision; we hope it can be reviewed and that the facts can finally be clarified.
Sérgio Moro: There can be no one above the law within the rule of law.
