Mr. President, in the wake of the clarifications made by the distinguished Rapporteur, Senator Weverton, I would also like, since I took part in that discussion, to emphasize that we are preserving the essence of the Clean Record Law through the editorial amendments adopted here, because they preserve the current rules — namely ineligibility for eight years after serving the sentence — for those categories of more serious crimes.
