Sérgio Moro: All of this, in fact, is connected. While there is an effort to dismantle the preventive and repressive apparatus against corruption, there is likewise an effort to annul past convictions without any legal justification, merely by a spurious attempt to reconstruct history.
Sérgio Moro: And, at the same time, there is an effort to prevent those facts that were now uncovered by the Federal Police — which, in this case, we must praise, since powerful people were found to be involved in this scandal — but who, nevertheless, are now, more or less, hamstrung...
