Sérgio Moro: He never, in fact, stated that PCC money had tainted the accounts at the Minister's wife's office.
It was pointed out that the Banco Master scheme had, indeed, laundered PCC money through Reag's funds and that these facts should be investigated.
Sérgio Moro: And here, allow me a broader reflection, because the doctrine of substantive immunity under the Federal Constitution has been undermined, Mr. President, because if a Senator cannot state the need to investigate facts supported by empirical evidence, under threat of a lawsuit for moral damages, under threat of criminal prosecution, we are left wondering where this will end.
