Sérgio Moro: People have difficulty making ends meet at the end of the month, paying for medicines at the pharmacy, because many of them have those special needs.
Sérgio Moro: And what we saw was a gang that robbed retirees and pensioners, including with well-founded suspicion of payment of bribes, of kickbacks, to high officials of the INSS: to the President of the INSS, appointed during the current Lula Government; to the Chief Prosecutor of Benefits of the INSS, appointed during the current Lula Government; to the Director General of Benefits, appointed during the Lula Government.
They should all be imprisoned; that is what we have been advocating.
Sérgio Moro: But here we have the opportunity to approve a bill that shuts off the valve that allowed the theft from those retirees.
Sérgio Moro: And enough of us thinking about stopgap solutions; we must immediately cut off the source of the problem.
