The Ministry of Finance is in party mode with a projection of 2.4% growth for Brazil. They just forgot to mention that India is growing at almost three times the rate and China at more than double. Celebrating second-to-last place in the BRICS is the ministry's specialty. While other countries accelerate, we celebrate steps at a turtle's pace. It's fanciful window-dressing that doesn't fill the pockets of those who work and even less does it lead us to prosper as we'd really like. Brazil needs direction, not people who are content with crumbs!
