Romeu Zema: Emílio, Brazil needs, I think even for reasons of national security, to have this investment in vaccines.
This became very visible during the pandemic, when those countries that had some production capability were in a much more comfortable situation than those that depended on others.
Romeu Zema: We have in Brazil some institutions, in São Paulo, in Rio, Funed in Minas Gerais, that produce vaccines, which in my government received full attention and even, after 10 years, managed to put into production a line that had been there and that no one had ever managed to make viable.
Romeu Zema: Thus contributing to the health of all of Brazil through production
