Nikolas Ferreira: We cannot allow these soldiers, people who work in public security, uniformed heroes who leave home not knowing if they will return, to simply be treated as a statistic, a number in the newspaper.
Nikolas Ferreira: People feel the pain, but there is no strict punishment for those scoundrels who wipe out the lives of family breadwinners, of people who had a bright future ahead.
Today I spoke with Corporal Vinícius's mother; I was moved by her, and I ask for the support of this House so that we approve this bill, so that the lives of our heroes in this country are not thrown away like garbage and so that they are treated as the heroes that they truly are.
Nikolas Ferreira: I also ask for support for a public petition, a signature campaign, to gather a good number of people, so that we pressure this House, President Hugo Motta, and Senator Davi Alcolumbre to schedule Bill No. 4,176 and for us to approve it.
Nikolas Ferreira: It is an urgent agenda because our heroes are dying in our country.
