Marcos Rogério: We proceeded, under the understanding reached, in favor of overturning the vetoes on the Environmental Licensing Law, with the exception of the provision that deals with the LAE; and, on that point, the postponement until we consider the provisional measure that addresses the matter, so that we do not have two pieces of legislation here dealing with the same subject.
Marcos Rogério: I commend Your Excellency for today's session.
So, I commend Your Excellency for scheduling these two items of the Environmental Licensing Law.
Marcos Rogério: Brazil needs this. We have more than 5,000 works stalled in Brazil, public works stalled in Brazil, because of the bottlenecks related to licensing.
Marcos Rogério: And I repeat, Mr. President, what the National Congress did, with the plural participation of Congress members from the opposition and from the government's base, in approving this matter.
