For having been called by Renan to coordinate that team, while at the same time having someone who knows how to deal with the National Congress, and because I witnessed Paulo Guedes' disaster — who may have had good academic training and market experience, but the way he dealt with Congress caused the presidency's reform to be derailed, he didn't submit a decent administrative reform and he couldn't get a tax reform approved.
Kim Kataguiri: Because of the need to have someone, a politician, coordinating Renan's economic team, I decided not to run for the state government.
Kim Kataguiri: And we are evaluating, we have until the 5th, we are considering holding a state convention here in São Paulo to decide whether or not we will have candidates for the Senate or for the state government, but today we still have no decision.
