Kim Kataguiri: The payment of taxes is suspended. What we are saying, with the provisional measure, is the following: "It is better that Brazil be a producer of commodities and a country that adds less value to its product than a country with a strong industry."
Kim Kataguiri: We are saying: "Brazil, export less chocolate and more cocoa.
Add less value to your production". That is what is most criticized in the development of our industry.
Kim Kataguiri: The reasoning is very simple — this is done worldwide —: someone who imports an input to process it and then manufacture a product for export benefits from a suspension of taxes, because they are adding value to the national industry.
Kim Kataguiri: The Government wants to end this and weaken our industry.
