Kim Kataguiri: Well, now we have our own party, so we're fortunate to be able to run in whatever election we want without needing any kind of approval from a party boss, because we know that most parties are from the Centrão, including my former party, União Brasil.
They generally have no interest in promoting any program or idea; they're only interested in having some position with whoever is going to win.
Kim Kataguiri: And that is not our intention; our intention is always to be the top of the ticket, to contest majoritarian elections, to implement our program.
Kim Kataguiri: We have no interest in joining any government in exchange for positions.
